 Established in 2002 by Kenichi Murase, owner and enthusiast of wine, a Sommelier as well as a Cheese Chevalier – a Certified Specialist of Cheese. He opened his dream restaurant with the menu focusing on organic ingredients and a unique selection of cheese and wine. Being in the restaurant and wine business for over 30 years, including an impressive 8 years experience in the world renown Okura Hotel,his driving force when considering the restaurant was to create a place where you can connect with friends over good food and wine in an elegant and welcoming environment.

 The fine dining menu focuses on ‘fresh made’ dishes . Savour a wonderful array of homemade pizza and pasta, fresh salads, finest seafood, roasted meat and organically sourced vegetables from local farmers whenever possible . Take for instance the popular house specialities- Raclette which has a wonderful aroma of melted cheese over organic vegetables. Also the fresh Oyster especially chosen according to season, quality and region.

 The wine menu features selected wine which is handpicked by the owner from wineries worldwide with focus on Oregon, Washington, New Zealand and Australian wines. The owner, Kenichi Murase is particulary fond of New Zealand and Australia wines. He often visit the local wineries in an endeavour to increase his ever growing selection of fine wines.

 Murase Wine and Cheese Salon currently boosts a selection of over 200 bottles of wine with over 30 of these wines available by the glass. He is also excited to discuss all of his offerings and lend his very capable suggestions and assistance in pairing dishes with wine options.
